Objectives:
  • Provide students with the skills required to evaluate a start-up for early stage investment by a VC
  • Provide students with the experience of interacting with start-up founders
  • Curate promising global university start-ups in the area of Smart City to participate in the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition

  • Roles & Responsibilities
− Source for prospective University start-ups around the World related to “Smart City”
− Perform due diligence
− Propose to the LKY Student Venture Associate Programme Office with a list of curated start-ups for invitation to LKY Competition Finals.

 Best Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition Student VC Award

  • For the student VC responsible for the highest number of startups invited to participate in the competition finals by the Programme Office.
