This workshop aims to provide a hands-on introduction to the scalable venture management for students with a strong interest in scalable or high-growth entrepreneurship (“Technoentrepreneurship”). This fast-paced course follows a structure that covers the major elements of start-up or entrepreneurship activity, focusing on key challenges faced in starting a venture. The session topics include: power negotiations, value-based selling and sales organization and aspects of going to market.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have developed a set of skills and capabilities for new venture creation, cash-flow planning, team organization and building, organizational development, selling, marketing, negotiations, stakeholder development and partnering, product planning and development, product/service lifecycle development, customer care development, service agreements, and the myriad collection of resources and operational processes to make a new company a productive, functioning entity with its unique set of competencies.
