The Knowledge Transfer and Commercialisation (KTC) unit at the Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE) plays crucial role in facilitating the transfer of research and intellectual property from SMU to the industry. KTC support the faculty members and researchers in the following ways:

    of MOE Decentralised Gap Funding (MDGF)

  • Offer business friendly licensing terms to researchers who wish to start a company(spin-off)
  • Make IIE’s BIG incubation ecosystem accessible to spin-offs to sustain as a start-up
