Chye Seng is a Venture Partner (VP) at Origgin Ventures. Origgin Ventures is a pre-seed deep tech venture co-creation company. In his current role, he helps to incubate deep tech startups from tertiary institutions and research institutes during their zero to one stage of development. He is currently a director in Sentient.io, an AI startup in Series B stage and acting as General Manager of NovusQ, a Quantum cryptography startup.

At Origgin Ventures, Chye Seng also spearheads Origgin Academy, organising Venture Co Creation workshops for potential deep tech startups founders and give them a foundation in the commercial aspects of entrepreneurship and product development. 

Chye Seng also holds an adjunct facilitator/lecturer role at NYP School of Engineering (Design Thinking) and NYP National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE), focussing on engaging Singapore based companies embarking on workplace training and development.

Prior to his current position, Chye Seng have worked for MNCs like Motorola, Siemens, ST Engineering, Intel, Infineon, Mediatek in various Asia Pacific Regional roles i.e. Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Business Development.

He holds an Electrical and Electronics Engineering Degree (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University.
