Home to SMU’s vibrant innovation ecosystem, the Jay & Marilyn Ng Greenhouse spans two storeys and 6,000 sq ft, acting as a dynamic bridge between the Yong Pung How School of Law and SMU School of Accountancy.
Purpose‑built for collaboration and thoughtfully designed to ignite ideas, the Greenhouse provides:
- Coworking zones for SMU‑affiliated innovators and BIG incubatees
- Flexible event venues tailored for workshops, panels, and networking sessions
Host Partner Events
SMU community, student clubs, and IIE partners may host Innovation & Entrepreneurship events in the Event Space at the Jay & Marilyn Ng Greenhouse, which is equipped with virtual event capabilities, designed to inspire and foster collaboration. Click Host Event and submit your proposal at least one month in advance for consideration, subject to availability.

- With exposure & visibility to the SMU community, the Jay & Marilyn Ng Greenhouse is suitable for both professional and social events.
- Theatre-style seating is possible for up to 40 persons sitting or 60 persons standing, but various event layouts can be accommodated upon request.
- Video projection, video conferencing and house audio is provided along with 2 wireless microphones.
