Basil has always been highly curious and passionate about technology, macroeconomics and how the world works. Having spent a decade consulting for B2B and enterprise tech firms on strategic and corporate communications, he’s now the resident communications and media specialist at SMU IIE, where he hopes to create a positive impact and shape future conversations in the innovation ecosystem alongside startups, students, thought leaders, investors and educators.
Basil spends his spare time visiting the latest art exhibitions, being a bedroom DJ and dreaming of his next winery visit.
