In 2008, while still a second-year student of Business and Information Technology at SMU, Elvin Ong started The Dott Solutions. As an undergraduate with no steady income, he decided that if he wanted to start a business, it would have to be low-risk and low-capital. The 27-year-old said that it was something he has always wanted to do.

Elvin ONG Weiwei is BSc (ISM), with a second major in Finance, graduate from SMU SIS (2006 entry batch).
