Alex has managed the investment activities for the Foundation since 2016. The Foundation seeks to grow its endowment through ownership of Australian commercial real estate, with a focus on hospitality and retail assets. Prior to joining the Foundation, Alex worked in Taiko Management and the Cargill Group. His career has been in strategy consulting and corporate finance. His primary experience is in advising companies on various commodity related asset transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has had experience in agri commodity trading and risk management in Singapore and China. Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Adelaide University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
