Hazem Janahi was born and raised in Bahrain, a scion of a century-old business family. From a young age, he was exposed to the world of business and entrepreneurship which sparked his interest in the field. Hazem graduated from the University of Bahrain with a B.Sc. in Accounting and began his career at Ernst & Young in 1999.

Throughout the course of his career, Hazem gained experience in various industries such as finance, aviation, real estate, food manufacturing, and hospitality. In 2008, he founded and managed a successful venture capital firm in Bahrain. Hazem is passionate about mentoring and empowering the youth in Bahrain and beyond and has served on different boards in Bahrain and other regional and international markets.

Currently, Hazem is serving as the Managing Director of CHANCELLORS, a Bahraini-based private equity advisory firm.
