Karyn has more than 10 years of experience in administrative and secretarial support. Through the years, she has contributed to the smooth administrative operations of the BNP Paribas Hedge Fund Centre and the Asia Private Equity Institute at SMU. She is now the lead student club advisor and also overseeing various IIE student clubs. 

Prior to joining SMU, Karyn was in the service sector serving as a flight attendant with two major Asian airlines. She often jests that the demands of her former service-oriented role have prepared her most for what she does today. 

Outside of work, Karyn enjoys baking, playing badminton and spending time with family and friends.
