Rules & Guidelines
- The competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students who are keen in private equity.
- Interested students can form teams of 3 to 4 students.
- Members can be from a different University.
- Each team should decide on a team name and should nominate one team leader.
- Team leaders are responsible for all submissions and communications with the organisers of the competition.
- Registrations open on now and closes on 23rd February 2019 at 11.59 pm SGT (GMT +8).
- Finals will be held at Singapore Management University on 18th May 2019.
- Registration fees: SGD $20.00 per team.
- Submissions will be reviewed by the Academic Director of APECS.
- For the preliminary round, participating teams are required to submit a Power-point presentation (maximum of 20 slides excluding cover slide and appendices) and an Excel workbook containing the supporting valuation model. All submissions are to be made to apec@sa.smu.edu.sg on or before 10th March 2019 at 11.59 pm SGT (GMT +8). You will receive a confirmation email from us within a day of submission. Please contact us on email should you not receive the confirmation email.
- Up to 5 teams will be shortlisted for the finals to be held on 18th May 2019. Finalists will have 25 minutes to present their findings to a panel of judges, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
- All members must be present physically during the Finals unless reasons that have been communicated otherwise.
