Rules & Guidelines
- All Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in any major and discipline with a keen interest in finance and problem-solving.
- Students are required to form teams of three to four and can comprise any mix of disciplines and year-group from different universities
- Each team should decide on a team name and should nominate one team leader.
- Team leaders are responsible for all submissions and communications with the organisers of the competition.
- Registrations closes on 20 October 2018 at 11.59 pm SGT (GMT +8). Finals will be held at Singapore Management University on 22 December 2018 (See detailed event format below).
- Registration fees: SGD $21.40 per team (inclusive of Goods and Services Tax).
- All submissions will be subjected to an initial review by the Academic Director of APECS and successful entries will be sent for an in-depth review by a team of Protege experts.
- For the preliminary round, the case question will be released on 21 October 2018. Participating teams are required to submit a slide deck (max. 20 slides excluding cover slide and appendices). All submissions are to be made here on or before 4 November 2018 at 11.59 pm SGT (GMT +8). A confirmation email will be sent within one day. You may contact the necessary SMU representatives should you not receive the email notification.
- Shortlisted teams for the finals will be notified by November. The finals will be held on 22 December 2018, Saturday. Finalists may refer to the timeline of events for the final day.
