CollaborART aims to be the Google Docs for artists by creating a platform that encourages creative collaboration, providing digital artists with the tools they need to come together and create artwork that becomes a sum greater than its parts. Through the implementation of social media and interactive entertainment elements, we seek to create not only a platform of utility but also to foster a vibrant online digital art community, with a plethora of options like private collaboration canvases and public spectating catering for casuals, hobbyists and professionals.

StepCharger is an energy-generating sole that will convert your footsteps into chargeable electricity. Convenient, mobile and integrated, StepCharger will relieve the frustrating pain of limited power. Now ask yourselves, how long must you walk before you run out of battery?

“BUILD LIVABLE AND SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT”

Our eco-friendly project focuses on changing the mentality of society towards food wastage through our product, the bin compost. Using natural means of decomposing vegetable waste, through blue worms, the by-product (worm tea) is used as an organic fertilizer. This method of decomposing waste provides a new solution to dispose ever-increasing amount of food waste produced by the population. By involving students primarily, as well as the larger community, we wish to educate the younger generation on the effects of excessive food wastage and at the same time introduce our product as an effective remedy to the problem.

Non-compliance with medication is a common issue amongst the elderly population in Singapore. Specifically, many elderly patients are confused by the different types, frequency and dosages of their medication especially if they cannot understand the labels which are written in English or in small fonts. PillPal is an app-paired wristband that seeks to address this problem and bring familiar yet reliable routine to seniors’ lifestyles. It is a one stop solution that reinforces a routine of taking medication on time and integrates non-routine activities, such as medical appointments and therapy sessions, into the elderly’s already habitualised schedules.

Have you ever experienced a blackout? Well you might have felt the same difficulties as citizens in South Africa and India, except their issue is amplified at a larger scale! We have decided to innovate a biolamp called DiLite to provide them with eco friendly light without a single source of electricity! This lamp uses a type of dinoflagellates that is a microorganism which produces light when it’s disturbed. So how does it work? There is a clockwork mechanism at the top of DiLite and when you turn the knob, it will spin the container which disturbs dinoflagellates, producing light!

Students in Singapore and around the globe take examinations of varied stakes and forms, fundamental to sound mastery of factual information like concepts, definitions and vocabularies. In view of such a need, team Ebbys takes up the challenge to build a mobile application to enhance students’ ability to remember things. We adopted the scientifically-proven memorization model developed by Ebbinghaus – spaced revisions.  Users can explore built-in concept lists and can even create their own. Furthermore, users can then upload their lists and share with others (and even monetizing them) through an online concept marketplace maintained by us.
