Dato’ Kho Hui Meng is both the Chairman of Enterprise Board at SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and a member of the Board of Trustees at SMU. He is also a former President & CEO of Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd., Director of Vitol Group of Companies, Director of Viva Energy Group Ltd, and Director of Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn. Bhd (formerly BP Malaysia).

Dato’ Kho joined Vitol in Singapore in 1987 after a career in Esso Singapore (1980-1986) and Maxus Energy Corporation Singapore (1986-1987). He started his career in Vitol Singapore as a trading manager and progressed over the years into the current role as Head of Vitol Asia.

Dato Kho’ graduated in 1980 from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), England with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemical Engineering. He was conferred the title “Dato” by His Royal Highness Sultan of Pahang, Malaysia in 2004.
