To enrol in the course, participants must fill out the application available on the website in mid-June.

 

Can I enrol in a course if I live outside of Singapore?
Yes, the course is designed for participants from all over the world.

 

Overview of the Grant 

The Commercialisation Grant provides researchers at SMU initial funding to facilitate the process of commercialising technologies. The Commercialisation Grant will be offered through a competitive application process to projects that meet the eligibility and evaluation criteria of the Grant.

The Round A INvestor (RAIN) programme trains aspiring investors on the art of Pre-A to A Round funding of early stage ventures. The programme includes lectures, networking events and live cases analyses from China, Hong Kong, Israel, Singapore, Taiwan and other ASEAN countries. It is taught by award-winning business professors and top Asian venture investors.

1. Project teams may apply to commercialise a technology project. Teams should comprise: Principal Investigator/Inventor or senior post-doc and may include 1 or 2 other team members.

2. Research teams supported by publicly-funded Institutes of Higher Learning and Research Institutes in Singapore.

Eligibility and Requirements
  • Programme is open to all full-time SMU undergraduates
  • Students should possess an interest in innovation and/or entrepreneurship
  • Students should possess maturity to live and work independently in a foreign and fast-paced environment
