Isaac Pek
Senior Manager
Isaac holds a Master of Information Technology from Australian National University and a BSc in Computer Science with Distinction from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is also a Certified Blockchain Practitioner and has undergone training in developing LLM Applications with AI Singapore.
Before joining SMU, he was responsible for digital literacy curriculum development at a Singapore IHL, where he developed content to enhance digital competencies across both student and faculty communities.
Outside of the education sector, he has played a critical advisory role in the technology commercialisation ecosystem. Isaac has worked extensively with numerous startups and SMEs across Singapore's innovation landscape, helping them navigate the challenges of technology adoption and implementation. Blending deep technical knowledge with his experience of evaluating technology for prior art and commercial viability, he has enabled startups to transform promising ideas into market-ready solutions.
Outside of work, Isaac enjoys miniature painting, tabletop gaming and photography, capturing scenes of daily life that tell the story of Singapore's evolving urban landscape. While predominantly a tea person, his latest obsession is concocting that perfect home brewed coffee.
