Yimei is a longtime friend of the SMU IIE community. An alumna of the School of Information Systems, she was deeply involved in initiatives like GII, BIG, SVA and LKYGBPC during her student years — and now, she’s come full circle, rejoining IIE from the other side of the table.
A founder at heart, Yimei leads Artistry Heals, a youth mental wellness startup that harnesses the power of creative arts and technology to help young people express, connect, and heal creatively.
Born in China and having moved to Singapore at the age of 14, Yimei brings a unique cross-cultural lens and a global mindset to everything she does.
With a deep passion for global immersion, innovation, and youth entrepreneurship, she’s excited to contribute to IIE’s mission of nurturing changemakers and building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem at SMU.
Outside of work, Yimei enjoys singing, watching K-dramas and Emily in Paris, and diving into escape rooms and high-elements adventures. And here's a fun fact — she’s the founder of Singapore’s first Taylor Swift university club, right here at SMU. Get ready for plenty of creativity, bold ideas, and Swiftie sparkles at IIE!
