Pi Can holds a PhD in microelectronics from the National University of Singapore. Before joining SMU IIE, she built her career across organizations including Fortune 500 MNC, IHL tech transfer office and local SME, where she worked extensively at the intersection of research, innovation, and industry collaboration. Over the years, she has been involved in supporting technology planning and development, driving commercialization initiatives, and fostering partnerships that enable scientific breakthroughs to translate into real-world impact.
She brings a strong combination of technical expertise, commercialization experience, and ecosystem-building capabilities, and is committed to applying this blend of skills to help accelerate the growth of scalable and high-potential deep-tech ventures.
