Ee Ling Lim

Ee Ling is the CEO of Wavesparks, an entrepreneurship platform that empowers youths to build ventures that matter. It delivers Silicon Valley‑standard programmes - ranging from startup accelerators and mentorship to networking and funding access - tailored specifically for youth‑led startups and designed to cultivate vibrant tech communities across Asia.

Previously, Ee Ling led Market Launch at 500 Global, a multi‑stage VC firm with a presence in 80+ countries. There she designed and ran 70+ accelerator and innovation programmes across Asia, Middle East, and North America. This cross‑cultural experience gave her deep insights into how entrepreneurs in different regions find customers, build teams and scale. Ee Ling leverages these networks and perspectives to guide local founders on how to adapt their pitch, product and leadership approach for global expansion.

A former investment banker, Ee Ling combines financial rigour with storytelling expertise to help founders prepare investor‑ready pitch decks and navigate early-stage fundraising. In her mentorship work with 500 Global she also coaches founders globally on mindset, wellness and leadership.

Ee Ling is also a Board Director of raiSE (Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise) and sits on its grant and investment committee, where she evaluates and supports social enterprises. She serves on the National Youth Council and National Youth Fund Advisory Committee and has been recognised as one of Singapore’s 100 Women in Tech and as a member of the Bett Asia EdTech 10. These roles reflect her commitment to social impact and youth development, and they inform her mentorship philosophy: businesses can grow sustainably while creating positive change.

In both global and local contexts, Ee Ling’s North Star is helping founders build ventures that are investor‑ready, culturally adaptable and purpose‑driven. Through Wavesparks and as mentor for numerous accelerators, she has helped thousands of youth founders launch meaningful startups.
