Two decades of intellectual property portfolio management and strategy have taken Kristen across a broad spectrum of technologies and jurisdictions. A Singapore-qualified patent attorney, she works with faculty, industry partners and entrepreneurs to transform promising research into commercially meaningful opportunities, always looking beyond the invention itself to the market it might one day serve.
Kristen enjoys working at the intersection of innovation, business and law, turning complex ideas into practical solutions. Her journey began with an engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University before she pivoted into legal practice in the UK.
In her free time, Kristen can be found running outdoors, in the weight room, or presiding over a pot of tea with a couple of feline housemates who did not ask to be supervised. Most of all, she is drawn to the mountains: there is nothing quite like a long climb to remind her how small and fleeting humans are against the grandeur of nature.
