Michael Schindler

Mike Schindler is a seasoned commercial leader who has led market expansion, business transformation, and sustainability initiatives across global consumer brands. Drawing on this experience, he founded KLMN Pte Ltd., a consultancy that helps retailers navigate the complexities of Asia's markets through sound, locally informed growth strategies. Mike's passion for retail, brands, and sustainability began during his tenure at Levi's, where he led teams spanning franchise operations, real estate, omnichannel strategy, merchandise planning, and inventory optimization. He later joined the startup ecosystem as COO of Pollen Tech, a company tackling the challenge of unsold FMCG inventory that too often ends up in incinerators. His contributions helped the company secure a Pre-Series A funding round led by a leading venture capital firm. As a mentor, Mike enjoys helping founders think through go-to-market strategies, operations, partnerships, and building commercially viable businesses. Outside of work, you'll find him spending time with his family, playing pickleball, or cheering on his alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned both his BA and MBA.
