Job Description Position: Intern
Start Date: A.S.A.P – 30th April 2018.
Job Description Summary:

An opportunity to intern within a select division of The Edge Singapore. In this division, you will work directly under the managing editor and an analyst. The role will primarily be to contribute at least one article a week to the Capital section of The Edge Singapore comprising of roughly 800 – 1,000 words. The focus will be on business news and actionable investment ideas. This could involve in-depth market research, data analytics, financial modelling and interviewing C-Suite executives. As such, financial literacy is a requirement with the ability to dissect annual reports and analyse large amounts of data. This role is suited for an eligible student with a passion for finance and investments

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Writing at least one article a week for the Capital section of The Edge Singapore comprising of roughly 800 – 1,000 words.

2. Assisting the analysts with their investment related research for the global portfolio.

3. Quantitative and qualitative analytics on various assets using a multitude of platforms such as

   Bloomberg and Morningstar.

4. Interviewing C-Suite executives to gain industry specific perspectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

An eligible undergraduate student with an appropriate student pass whom writes well and is financially literate. Completion of accounting, finance, business and economics modules will be a plus.
