Holo Data Security (HDS) is a spin-off company from Singapore Management University (SMU) founded by Prof Robert Deng in 2021. HDS offers end-to-end data protection and privacy for cloud applications. It protects data in transit, storage and computation in zero-trust environments with end-to-end encryption. HDS provides further support for attributed-based cross domain and cross borders secure enterprise data sharing and delivered multi-user secure search for encrypted documents.
The Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution is patent-protected by SMU and licensed to HDS. Prof Deng commercialised his underlying research with the support of commercialisation grants and guidance from the Knowledge Transfer & Commercialisation of IIE.
