In our upcoming AMA on 12 Feb 2019, Ircahn Gunawan (Co-founder & COO of IRVINS Salted Egg) will be sharing with us the success story of IRVINS Salted Egg, from its humble beginning as a seafood restaurant at River Valley in 2008, with their best seller salted egg crab, to its success of having cartels in five countries a decade later. IRVINS Salted Egg currently has 15 stores in total (7 in Singapore, 3 in HK, 3 in Philippines, 1 in Taiwan, and 1 in South Korea).

Magnus Grimeland is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Antler (, a venture builder that develops the next generation of world-changing companies and entrepreneurs. Previously, Magnus was Co-Founder and Regional Managing Director of Zalora in Southeast Asia. He later became Chief Operating Officer of Global Fashion Group (GFG) and was responsible for strategic market initiatives, improving the business and rolling out GFG's Marketplace across 26 countries in SEA, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania.

Magnus is an alumni of Harvard University and McKinsey & Company.

From the first 4FINGERS outlet at ION Orchard Mall in 2009, the fried chicken fast food chain is now present in four countries with 21 stores. In a short span of four years, the company grew from $2 million to a $30 million business under the leadership of its former CEO, Steen Puggaard.

Steen also brings with him over 20 years of experience with prominent brands in the F&B industry such as McDonalds, Burger King and Les Amis.

He is the co-founder of TenX, a leading blockchain company that makes multiple virtual currencies instantly spendable anytime anywhere in everyday life. It raised USD $80 million in its initial token sale to bring cryptocurrencies to the masses and connect all the blockchains through COMIT.

Julian was named one of the world’s top Blockchain and Cryptocurrency experts. He is a frequently invited speaker at global Tech/FinTech/blockchain events and government summits as well as a regular commentator in the media on current blockchain trends, the future of cryptocurrency and best ICO practices. He has recently released the book “Cryptocurrencies Simply Explained.”

Kevin Aluwi graduated from University of Southern California with Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship, and International Relations. Kevin, who was awarded as “Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia” in 2016, was working in the USA for 1.5 years before he decided to go back to Indonesia and worked at Merah Putih Inc. as its Business Development Manager. Before he established GO-JEK together with Nadiem Makarim (CEO) and the other co-founders, Kevin also worked as the Head of Business Intelligence at Zalora Indonesia for two years. Kevin has extensive experiences in many aspects of business, including but not limited to cooperating with investors, building the online marketing teams, and building data science in organization.

Michele Ferrario is currently the Co-Founder and CEO at StashAway. He spent most of his career in and around financial services and investments, first at McKinsey in Milan and New York, then as a Private Equity investor. In the last 5 years, Michele has focused on building consumer internet companies, with experience in both the start-up phase at Rocket Internet, and in the scale-up phase - where he was most recently the Group CEO of the largest fashion e-commerce in Southeast Asia, ZALORA.

[Update] Due to unforeseen circumstances, his co-founder Nino Ulsamer, CTO & Co-Founder of StashAway took his place as guest speaker for the AMA.
